_125277536 smallFrom May 2016 e-liquids will be subject to additional regulations (see TPD compliance section).  A 2-tier regulatory framework is emerging.  Products containing e-liquids with a nicotine solution of less than 20 mg/ml can remain a consumer product but certain administrative, quality and safety data must be submitted to the authorities.   Higher strength products will require a medical licence.

There will also be a restriction on the volume of the e-liquid bottle, the cartridge of disposable e-cigarettes and tanks.
