The enforcement of tobacco law regulations lies with the federal states (Bundesländer) and the The Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety (BVL) is the primary body for TPD compliance and notifications via EU-CEG.
Cross-border sales of nicotine-containing vapes in Germany are permitted.
Retailers in Germany are required to register before selling vapes.
There are no specific lab testing requirements.
